There are 2 issues that I want to share in this post.

1. Regarding my newest photo that was exhibited in the event organized by local communities to save our local city forest. Babakan Siliwang was declared by UNEP as World City Forest in 2011, but now there's a rumor that 20% of the area will be changed into mall by the private company that manage the area (our local government gave the private company a permission to manage the Babakan Siliwangi area). The local communities have been raising campaign to save babakan siliwangi, from building the forest walk in the forest, and holding many activities to make people know more and concern more about Babakan Siliwangi. Recent event was "Regia" where there were so many activities, from photo exhibition, forest dining, forest picnic, workshop for kids, to yoga.

2. Another issue is more awful for us, Indonesian. The Aceh government is planning to turn 1.2 million hectares of Aceh rain forest into industrial area and community plantation area. It will affect the wildlife habitat around the rain forest and therefore it will also affect the ecosystem and I can't even imagine what will happen in few years if this plan is actually brought to reality.
